Steel Oil Pump Gear is a direct replacement for the plastic gear, Of which the oil pump is obsolete from Kohler. This fits Kohler Command V-twin 18-30HP engines and also works with the newer integral oil pumps. Failure of the plastic gear can cause premature engine failure. Installation video below. On certain 27-30 HP engines with the thicker counterweights, some clearancing of the gear may be required.
